Colonial Cottage Motel is very handy to many cafes, restaurants, clubs and bars.

We have a range of accommodation to suit couples, business travellers, families and flashpackers alike.

All studios have kitchen facilities and en-suite showers.

 Masterton lies at the centre of the  Wairarapa and its host of attractions and is but a short and scenic one and a half hours drive from Wellington.

Wineries, Mt Bruce Wildlife Centre, Ballooning, Historic places are all in close proximity,

Pahiatua and Eketahuna are to the north, and Carterton, Greytown and the vineyards of Martinborough are to the south.

To the west lie the magnificent Tararua Ranges which shelter our wide valley allowing us long hot  summers and crisp winters.
